“Mayo and I have come to the Bighorn for four years now, and for the last three years, we have arrived at the lodge to find the same convergence of fun repeat guests who hail from all over the country. We’ve become good friends, and will even be meeting up for some quail hunting in Georgia this winter. The group has a good mix of men and women. Some of us women hunt, some walk with the hunters, and some stay in and enjoy the peace and quiet of the lodge. We’re a little raucous at cocktail hour which we enjoy. With the terrific bird hunting and excellent food at Forrester’s, we have a great vacation every time.” – Susan.

Hi, and welcome to our new blog. We are called Forrester’s Bighorn Resort. “The Horn” as anglers call it, is nationally recognized as one of the premier trout streams in the United States and we just happen to have access to the best spot on the river.
Come and fish the Bighorn River with the Resort’s elite Orvis-endorsed guides. There are an average of 7,500 trout per river mile. Your guide’s knowledge, combined with the abundance of trout, all but guarantees that you’ll have your fair share of fish photo ops that you could share with us for this blog. History has proven that you can bring in a trout between 18 and 22 inches so what are you waiting for? Come visit us in Montana if you want to have the time of your life. www.forrestersbighorn.com
